The Down Syndrome Foundation of South Texas (DSFSTX) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing educational and support services to children with developmental disabilities, with an emphasis on Down syndrome by following a TLC motto:

MISSION

The mission of DSFSTX is to nurture a loving and inclusive community that celebrates every person, including those with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. DSFSTX offers supports, education, and encouragement as it seeks to inspire community acceptance by sharing with others the presence, potential, and abilities of people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities.

GOALS

TEACH others about Down syndrome by building public awareness and acceptance of the abilities of individuals with Down syndrome

LEARN more about Down syndrome by providing seminars and workshops from professionals who work with Down syndrome individuals

CELEBRATE the individuals with Down syndrome who have touched our lives
